Arrivederci Roma!

We are leaving this beautiful city to welcome and explore Florence! Before we arrive, there are a few things that have to get done, the Catacombs of San Callisto and San Gimignano

The Catacombs of San Callisto in Rome were well preserved cemeteries and places of Catholic worship during many years of persecution. It was one of the scariest places we have been because it was so far down!

We decided to wait for our arrival to the Tuscan town of San Gimignano for lunch. The view of the Tuscan countryside were breathtaking, especially since we were at one of the highest points. This medieval town had some of the best cheese and meat selections we have ever tasted!

We finally arrived in Florence! This much anticipated city did not disappoint. After our delicious dinner, we went for a walk to the Duomo. The colourful gothic-inspired Catholic Cathedral was worth the wait.

Tonight we rest, for tomorrow we tour Florence!
